MUNN, ROBINSON, SCOTT posted by Denver Blair on Sunday, November 19, 2000
I am looking for information on Dr. Justin Scott. He married Harriet Munn, 19 Sept 1822. They had a daughter, Candace, born 16 Dec 1825, who married David Robinson, 9 Jun 1866.(Based on a hand written note). IGI files from LDS list Dr. Justin Scott as being born about 1797, however, the "Pioneer and General History of Geauga Co., Ohio" (1880) tells that he served as an army surgeon in 1812. Based on this I feel Justin was born earlier. Any information would be helpful.

BENDER, ELLISON, MATHEWS posted by Betty Matthews Hammer on Thursday, November 23, 2000
My father, Charles Edward Mathews, was born in Auburn the son of George Warren Mathews and Lydia (Lida) Ann Bender. I have also heard his mother's surname was Warner, not sure which is correct. My father left Ohio at the age of 15 when his mother and father divorced but he had a brother RV Del and sister Emma who remained and lived with their grandparents William Mathews and Emma Ellison. The family lived in Parkman and then Burton and at the time of William and Emma's death they lived in Burton. If anyone has information on this family I will gladly share what I have been able to gather. Betty Mathews Hammer
