- I am looking for someone who has access to church records.I need them to lookup a marriage for a Charles Heskell and Mary Clark.The month was April and the year was 1936.I have been told that there is no record in the courthouse but for that year you could get a license from the church.I really need someone's help with this as I am unable to come to Ohio.Thank you for any and all help.

- trying to locate William and Julia Butler Taylor William Taylor came to New Milford, CT to attend the funeral of his brother in 1952 and his address at that time was listed in the obit as lake Auillia Ohio. No family member has any more information on this person. Another obit in the family gives William's address as Michigan at the time his brother was killed in NJ by a trolly approx. 1925 I am making at trip to Indiana in a week and would like to stop in Ohio if I had a clue to the Taylor connection. thanks for any help anyone maybe able to offer. - Looking for info on the Sheldon family of Geauga Co. Specifically, an Alexander SHELDON that was born in NY abt 1780-90. I believe he had a son named Avery SHELDON that married a Sarah JENKS in Geauga Co. in 1836. They are all living in Knox Co., OH by 1840. I found a Martin SHELDON in Geauga who owned several parcels of land in the early 1830's. Any connection?

- I am looking for any info on Daniel McCambridge, believe he was living in geauga co in 1909. He married Mayme McNish in January of that year. He died in 1943 and is buried in Burton Village/ Welton cemetery. Does anyone have any info on him or his descendants?

- Hi. I am seeking some help finding some info on my Colvin ancestors.I have traced them back to Geauga County but am having quite bit of trouble determining their parentage. I am hoping that their obituaries may help to shed some light. They are: Abner Colvin d 1847 in Hiram OH, Ruth Colvin Keys d 9/8/1888 in Auburn OH, Serepta Colvin Crafts d. 1871 in Auburn OH, and Nehemiah Colvin d 1850 in Troy OH. If anyone is doing similar type research, I would gladly pay them for their time in looking these obituaries up and sending me the transcripts. Thanks!

- Smith P. Weller married Abegail Malvina Crane on February 23, 1846 in Lake County, Ohio. As of June 29, 1860 Smith is listed on the Chardon, Geauga County, Ohio Census with family. Lost track of him after that. Cannot find him listed in the civil war either. By 1870 Abegail is remarried to Adison White and living in Benzie County, Michigan. Would very much like to find additional information on great-great grandfather SMITH P. WELLER, such as proof of death/burial and/or civil war service. Thank you!

- Does anyone know about the automobile races up Chardon Hill that took place in the 19teens and or 1920s? Or how I can find out about them? My great-uncle M.R. BRUGMANN was supposed to have raced and won at least one of the races. And near as anyone family member can recall it happened in the early part of the last century. Thanks, Debbie

- Looking for information on Vanessa Williams. She moved to Ohio in the summer of 1972. Her mailing address was Chardon,Ohio, I do not remember any more specifics on her address. In high school, ( Chenango Forks High, Chenango Forks,NY) She was a very close friend of mine. I have been searching for her for years. I was hoping to see if there were any records of her being married in Ohio. When she moved to Ohio she was 18 years old. I contacted our old high school, be they would not give any information. - Is anyone researching or familiar with the Rexes who owned Sagamore Farms on Emery Rd? He is Ralph K. Rex (often referred to as Bunny), former chairman of Diebold Safe. His wife's name is Margaret (Peggy), and was known as the first lady of aviation in Cleveland. They had a daughter Janet. - Claridon Troy Road..Twnshp ? How can I find what township Claridon Troy Road is in ? Since this road was not heavily populated how can I find who lived on this road in the 1800's ? I am not looking for a particular family I am looking for WHO built the house.....previously the house included carriage steps at the road Quite a large house so whoever built the house was financially well off.
